RoHS
General Electric (GE) is mandated to exercise due diligence to pinpoint the origin of any tin, tantalum, tungsten, or gold (3TG) within its supply chains. The company must then annually report the findings of this diligence to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The core objective of Section 1502 of this regulation is to eradicate the trade of 3TG that funds armed conflict, particularly in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
At PERISO SA, we require all our suppliers whose products incorporate 3TG to implement policies and set up systems ensuring these minerals are sourced only from verified conflict-free origins. We understand that establishing a completely conflict-free supply chain is a process requiring both time and effort. Nevertheless, we anticipate that you will undertake reasonable, sincere measures to advance toward this objective.

The REACH regulation (EC 1907/2006) serves to bolster the safeguarding of both human health and the environment. It achieves this by fostering an improved and earlier understanding of chemical substances’ inherent characteristics. This is carried out through REACH’s four main procedures: registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemicals. Beyond safety, REACH also strives to boost the European Union’s chemical industry in terms of innovation and market competitiveness.
A key aspect of this regulation is the gradual replacement of the riskiest chemicals, often called “substances of very high concern,” whenever viable alternatives become available.

VTTA
VTTA is a service able to provide a concrete support to the development of innovative projects for SMEs, by guaranteeing information, consultancy and planning assistance, through a customized modular approach depending on the characteristics of the projects presented.
With the VTTA process, Periso commits to acquire personnel specialized in the best Universities, by training and integrating it during the project development and engineering.
At the end of the process, the expert figures are then provided to the enterprise to support innovation in the future years.
